Millennium Chambers is pleased to share that Michael Magarian KC has successfully secured the acquittal of his client, Dante Kalsi, on charges of murder and manslaughter, following a retrial at Birmingham Crown Court.
The case involved allegations arising from a shooting incident in which firearms were discharged on both sides. The defence maintained that Mr Kalsi was not involved in the incident and that the individual who discharged a weapon had acted in lawful self-defence.
After a detailed retrial before a High Court judge, the jury returned not-guilty verdicts on the counts of murder and manslaughter, concluding a complex and high-profile legal process.
