Background
Fred Cross has nearly 20 years’ experience as a barrister’s clerk, having previously worked at two leading sets of chambers: 9–12 Bell Yard (now Foundry Chambers) and Furnival Chambers.
Recognised for his approachable manner, proactive approach and ability to resolve complex issues efficiently, Fred has built a strong reputation across the legal profession. His extensive experience and well-established relationships with solicitors, courts and professional clients enable him to deliver a responsive, commercially focused service. Fred oversees the day-to-day management of members’ practices, including diary management, listing arrangements, fee negotiations, and liaison with courts, solicitors and professional clients. His detailed understanding of court procedures and practice management enables him to provide strategic support to clients and counsel, helping to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Outside work, Fred enjoys spending time with his son, Denver. He is also a passionate supporter of Tottenham Hotspur and the Denver Nuggets.
