Crime
R v. B (2024) – Represented SB, a young man of good character who faced a five count indictment of rape, attempted rape, assault by penetration and theft. Following a five-day trial at Kingston Crown Court prosecuted by King’s Counsel, the defendant was acquitted unanimously by a jury on all five counts.
R v. MM and Another (2024) – led Junior acting for the defendant accused of being part of the Harrow Road Boys member on conspiracy to endanger life.
R v. AC (2024) – represented AC, who was indicted with section 18, Grievous Bodily Harm.
R v. MC (2023) – represented a 15-year-old in the magistrates Court for a bladed article.
R v. PS (2023) – represented PS, who was indicted with sexual assault.
R v. RM [2023] – represented RM, who stood trial for assaulting a police officer. RM was acquitted.
R v. YJ and Ors (2023) – represented YJ in multi handed trial. YJ was acquitted of being concerned in the supply of class A.
R v. NR (2022) – represented NR, a man who was convicted of a terrorism offence (bomb hoax) and accused of breaching his notification requirements under the Counter Terrorism Act 2008.
EXTRADITION
Poland v H | Successfully argued the discharge of copyright offences against the Requested Person.
